Me First And The Gimme Gimmes cant clash with Foo Fighters because Chris Shiflett who is lead guitarist for Foo Fighters is also in Me First And The Gimme Gimmes.

Good shout, but Chris doesn't usually play live with MFATGG of late. His brother Scott has been filling in.

Thanks though!

That news has made my day! Was gutted about Foo's and Less Than Jake clashing but if I get to see a bit of Foos's ill be happy 🙂

Hi,

Great job on the clashfinder so far!

However you appear to have Star Fucking Hipsters and Dead To Me's sets mixed up.

Keep it up!

Good spot, sorted.

Any idea on roughly when this will be pretty much spot on? I know the times may differ slightly from the official programme but I know the clashfinders are usually for the most part accurate too.

I'm pretty confident it will be very accurate. I've looked back at previous years' official times to help.`

Here are the things I'm not sure of:

- Never before have 2 bands had a 2 hour headline set, usually it's just one. The organiser has confirmed The Cure will have a long set, anf I can't foresee the Foos getting any less. Another thing that backs this up is there are 10 bands on the main stage on those 2 days. 10 bands, rather than 11, have played on the days the headliner has had 2 hours.

- But then there are only 10 bands on the day Kasabian are headlining. Maybe from now on ALL headliners will have 2 hours? I don't think so, but I have given them 100 minutes rather than 90 minutes, so my clashfinder won't be TOO far off if they end up playing 2 hours.

- This is also the reason why I have given Justice and At The Drive In slightly longer than the usual NME 1 hour headline slot. There is a band less than usual on each day.

- The other stages will be spot on, give or take 5-10 minutes

Hope this helps!

Hey I'm just wondering why Kasabian have a half an hour shorter set than the other two headliners?

90 minutes is the normal headline set, and it's usually only 1 band who get the 2 hour slot.

The organiser has said The Cure will get a long set, and Foo Fighters definitely will too.

I'm starting to think Kasabian might get 2 hours as well, especially since there's only 10 bands on the main stage that day.

We can't be sure til the official times are out, that's why this is only a guide!

I hope they do! Although i'm not sure if they have enough popular songs to fill that long haha

Mongo Horde are now on the Lock-up stage on Friday, and Here We Go Magic seem to have vanished from the saturday NME lineup.

Hey I was on the BBC site and they have posted the Introducing stage running order.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/events/efmhzc/performances/lfmhzc

That also suggests that Zulu Winter will play Leeds Day One (rather than day 2 on clash finder), and Funeral Suits will open FR Stage Day 2.

Also, this site shows some of the set times from the Alternative Stage on Sat & Sun

http://www.rockfeedback.com/gig/435/leeds-festival-2012/

Keep up the good work!

A-ha! Great stuff, thanks.

Zulu Winter seem to playing Leeds Saturday and Reading Sunday, which is slightly odd, but I'll go with it.

And I'm gonna leave off all acts after 11pm, just because.

The official times for the main stage and NME have been announced so some of yours need moving about a little bit to correspond with those. Thanks a lot for the clashfinder by the way, this seems to be by far the best one!

On it! x

SimpoClashfinder Admin2012-08-20 11:48

Only Main Stage and NME/R1 times are 100% accurate right now, hold tight for the rest!

Guest - Gary2012-08-20 15:12

Hey, I don't know whether you'll have seen this already, but I thought this might be useful for the Alternative Stage times: http://www.gigwise.com/news/66122/reading-and-leeds-festival-2011-stage-times. This year the Alternative Stage seems to have some later sets, like Propaganda and Transgressive, but other than that, this year's and last year's Alternative Stage seems to take a similar format of 8 or so comedians (until about 7, presumably). That should mean the times would be similar, though obviously it also depends on the individual acts. What do you think?

Guest - Yasmin2012-08-21 16:45

It looks like all time have been announced except the Alternative Stage! I'm early bird so would really appreciate it if I could get this printed tonight when its complete and accurate 🙂 🙂

Guest - Josh2012-08-21 18:23

All the times are up 🙂 Would be great if you could possibly update this tonight Simpo as I am also early bird! Appreciated mate

Guest - 2012-08-21 21:12

this needs updating because us early birders need to get this printed! because clashfinder is better than the leeds fest website.

cheers!

SimpoClashfinder Admin2012-08-21 21:47

Ahhhhhh, doing it now been at a football match!!

Guest - 2012-08-22 13:07
